LiV Pi is more than a modern, open source, internet connected, indoor air quality monitor. It is also a great learning tool: building LiV Pi takes you all the way from soldering a Raspberry Pi expansion board to configuring a Linux device (setting IP addresses, testing sensors and hardware clock, configuring Instant Messaging, email reporting, adding some custom Python code, setting configuring channels on various IoT platforms, etc…)
