Module One

1) Workshop introduction, goals, safety procedures, etc…                  - 10 min
2) LiV Pi device presentation                                                           - 10 min
3) Assemble and power up LiV Pi (step 2 DYI on livpi.com)                - 30 min    
4) Connect LiV Pi to internet (step 3 DYI section on livpi.com)           - 20 min          
5) Setup LiV Pi hardware clock (step 4 DYI section on livpi.com)        - 20 min          
6) Mount LiV Pi into the coloured acrylic case                                   - 30 min

At the end of first session, students can take their LiV Pi device home. Depending on how you organise the workshop, students can either finish LiV Pi setup at home or attend a second session at the maker space.


Module Two(optional)

1) Set up LiV Pi instant messaging (step 5 DYI section on livpi.com)    - 30 min
2) Set up LiV Pi email alerts (step 6 DYI section on livpi.com)             - 30 min
3) Set up LiV Pi Thing Speak (step 7 DYI section on livpi.com)            - 30 min
4) Workshop ends, collect student feedback                                      - 10 min

This is a just a proposed, minimal format. The instructor can design his or her workshop format, modules and topics.
